AGENDA FOR BI-MONTHLY MEETING WITH DPS:
1. Irregular recovery from the officials in the guise of
minus balance – CBS work: It is seen that in a hurry to keep the record
straight, action has been initiated to get money of minus balance from the
officials some how identified. This is highly irregular and the way to settle
minus balance errors. Due to the fault of some body at some point of time, the
innocent officials should not be made to suffer recovery.
2. Parcel delivery, nodal centres not ideal – proper and
objective study of the issue and solutions in consultation with staff side
appears good for the efficient public work we strongly feel. Feed back from the
centres to be made available in the meeting.
3. Channapatna division is facing lot of problems due to
shortage of man power, over work, business targets and over activity – need for
creation of Urban division: Ultimate suffers are the field staff. Adequate
manpower and competent hands are to be provided to man the work at offices like
Nelamangala, Doddaballapura etc. The strength of 1992 is still maintained with
only 4 addition. Immediate review/assessment is felt essential. All heavy B
class offices and single handed now. The hand of the division, promoted to PA
from MTS (APS), is also not taken back. In a nut shell there is need for merger
of creation of urban division – Bangalore North felt necessary.
4. Non-maintenance of Holiday home, Rajajinagar: It is an
old item still pending, may be attended on priority. Drainage very badly in
need of proper connection to sewage etc.
